We want to get to know you, so we would like to learn as much as possible about you and therefore ask for a short summary of your CV, in order to be able to go into one or two points more specifically or to understand them better. We are particularly interested in your professional experience, but also in your personal development, your motivation to apply to NGK Europe, as well as whether you can express yourself well in English and if you have already come into contact with the Japanese culture. In addition to these topics, the key points are of course also very important in order to determine when you could start with us and what your salary expectations are.
There is no general dress code, however this depends mainly on the area you work in and whether you have customer meetings. If you have a customer meeting, the dress style is business; if you don’t have a customer meeting, it’s more business casual.
We have a dynamic daily business. Therefore, we implemented a core working time for the exchange with each other. Besides this the time can be flexibly organised under the responsibility of the employees as we trust that each member knows best how much time one needs to spend on the tasks and when. For us, full-time means 39 hours per week.
The health of our employees is very important to us, not only driven by the COVID-19 situation. That’s why we have applied to the Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance since the beginning, implemented a hygiene concept, and equipped everyone with a notebook and appropriate equipment. We also know that onboarding by colleagues is best done face-to-face. Wherever possible, we try our best to give you the opportunity to experience everyday work not only through MS Teams, but also in presence in the office, because we think that a good connection with other employees is absolutely essential for a great working culture.
